What is Superbrands?

The Superbrands organisation presents expert and consumer opinion on branding. In the UK the core programmes include: Superbrands, Business Superbrands, and CoolBrands. Each explores the leading brands in these respective fields and has a dedicated publication which presents case studies of member brands. Superbrands operates in over 55 countries.

What is a Business Superbrand?

Thousands of UK B2B brands are considered for the Business Superbrands programme. The process is administered by The Centre for Brand Analysis, and over 1,400 B2B brands are voted on by an independent and voluntary council of experts the Business Superbrands council - and thousands of UK business professionals - who are surveyed by online pollsters YouGov. The top 500 B2B brands are then recognised as Business Superbrands and all receive an invitation to become members of the Business Superbrands programme.

To define a Business Superbrand, Stephen Cheliotis Chairman of The Centre for Brand Analysis states:

A Business Superbrand has established the finest reputation in its field. It offers customers significant emotional and/or tangible advantages over its competitors, which (consciously or sub-consciously) customers want, recognise, and are confident about investing in.
