Marketing
The marketing department is a central function in BMRB with a team of 3 full time and 2 part time staff. Working alongside design agencies and consultants, the team is responsible for marketing BMRB and its business units. It uses advertising, direct marketing, PR seminars and electronic marketing to generate awareness and develop new business among key target markets.
Key Result Areas
- To support the team in providing marketing communications for BMRB and its business units (Media, Social, , Omnibus)
- To manage Centre for Excellence, BMRB’s programme of external training courses
Marketing communications
- Support the marketing team with corporate and business unit projects. This would include involvement with:
- Websites
- Direct mailings
- Email campaigns
- Trade press advertising
- Newsletters
- Press releases
- Corporate events
- Launch events
- Database management
Centre for Excellence (CFE)
- Assist in development of courses for CFE programme
- Manage promotional materials: brochure production, print and mailing
- Provide administrative support
Qualifications and skills
- 2:1 class degree
- Good A levels or equivalent
- Grade B in Maths and English Literature at GCSE level
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to plan ahead and prioritise
- Logical approach
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in a research or marketing environment is an advantage but not essential

- Practical common sense as well as intellectual capability
- Open to new ideas and able to think creatively
- Self motivated and self confident
- Gets on well with people at all levels and enjoys working as a team as well as independently
