Graduate Trainee – Research, Omnibus

BMRB Omnibus Research

BMRB Omnibus specialises in Omnibus research. Omnibus surveys carry questions for more than one client and take place to pre-booked schedules, thus saving time and money. BMRB Omnibus offers a range of omnibus products including face to face, telephone, global and online providing research data on a global basis to clients wanting fast, accurate and reliable information about anything.

Purpose

To undertake research projects on BMRB Omnibus Face-to Face, Telephone, Global and Online omnibus surveys under the guidance of a more experienced researchers

Job Description

  • To handle client enquiries, preparing costs on small scale projects which are approved by an SRE/AD
  • Responsibility for individual projects on the omnibus and ensure that they are carried out smoothly, to a high standard of quality, cost effectively and to schedule
  • Liaising with client throughout the course of the project and advise clients on questionnaire design
  • To be involved and help with all checking processes
  • To provide clear and accurate analysis specs, code frames and other relevant documents for Support departments
  • To develop and maintain good clients relationships both externally and internally
  • To prepare relevant documents and ensure the printing and despatch of tabulations / data on time
  • Where appropriate to be involved in presenting the conclusions of the findings to a client, either in person or in writing, or both with the approval of a senior person

Qualifications and skills

  • 2:1 class degree
  • Good A levels or equivalent
  • Grade B in Maths and English Literature at GCSE level
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to plan ahead and prioritise
  • Logical approach
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
