The Research Sciences Unit at BMRB acts as internal consultants for researchers across the company's business units, advising on methodology, survey design, weighting, and analysis. They have a wide range of skills with the most senior statistician having forty years experience.

The unit is the centre of methodological and statistical expertise, enabling us to enhance the service we offer to clients, improve the skills of our researchers and strengthen BMRB’s reputation as the leading UK agency in research methodology.

Examples of multivariate analytical work carried out by the team includes among others; logistic regression, coding reliability studies, structural equation modelling, cluster analysis, factor analysis, CHAID, multilevel modelling and data fusion.
